At the WOEA Representative Assembly many important decisions will be made that have a direct impact on our locals. It is vital to have everyone’s input. To insure maximum representation, locals are encouraged to elect WOEA delegates and to send their OEA delegates to the WOEA RA. WOEA delegates are IN ADDITION to the local’s OEA delegates, because OEA delegates are already automatic delegates to the WOEA RA with voting rights. Be advised that OEA alternates have voting rights at the WOEA RA, only if they are replacing an absent OEA delegate or if they have also been elected by your local as WOEA delegates.
WOEA delegates must be elected by October 10, 2017. Send the WOEA Election Report Form to WOEA postmarked no later than October 15, 2017.
