WOEA Scholarship and OEA Matching Grant Guidelines:
WOEA will offer up to 14 (2 for each of the seven WOEA areas) and OEA will offer up to 10 (ten) matching grants to support OEA members who attend the 2022 OEA Summer Leadership Academy.
The WOEA Scholarship or OEA Matching Grant will pay for the following:

• Conference Registration Fee ($100).

The following expenses are covered by the registration fee:

• Conference Meals Wednesday – Dinner Thursday – Breakfast and Lunch Friday – Breakfast and Lunch 
  
• Hotel Accommodations (nights of June 15 -16, 2022, only) at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square, based on single or double occupancy.

The following expenses are NOT covered by the registration fee:

• The WOEA Scholarship or OEA Matching Grant does not pay for any other travel expenses (mileage, etc.)

Matching Grants are awarded based on District recommendations and to those members who are not receiving a District Awarded Scholarship, Region Scholarship, or other scholarship awarded by a local.

The 2022 OEA Summer Leadership Academy will return as an in-person conference scheduled for June 15-17, 2022, at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square in Columbus, OH. OEA is pleased to offer OEA Matching Grants once again as a supplement to District Awarded Summer Leadership Academy Scholarships. By providing OEA Matching Grants, OEA districts and OEA can attract members to participate in sessions that will help members at all levels of the association realize and develop skills and talents as leaders of their profession and their association while building relationships and organizing for power.
